Stephan Bodzin

Stephan Bodzin is a German Techno producer and DJ.  Producing since 2005 Bodzin made a rapid rise to prominence, earning a reputation for high quality Minimal Techno productions and DJ sets, in turn collaborating with the likes of Oliver Huntemann and Marc Romboy.

Early Years: 2005 to present

Stephan Bodzin’s father was an experimental musician and owned a number of vintage analogue synthesizers.

Stephan Bodzin’s music career started off with compositions for a number of European theatres.

In the mid 2000’s Bodzin began to be drawn to club music and in 2005 released his first Techno track: ‘Caligula’. 

Over the following two years Bodzin’s profile and reputation grew quickly, culminating in the critically acclaimed album ‘Liebe Ist…’ (Herzblut Recordings 2007).

Bodzin’s growing role was underlined with a number of collaborations with key figures in the German Techno scene, not least of which was Humate’s Oliver Huntemann.

Stephan Bodzin is a well respected member of the German Techno scene, with a melodic take on the Minimal sound which Germany is finding itself increasingly at the centre of.
