Growing up in the Psy-trance dominated Israeli dance music scene Maor Levi’s early influences were unsurprisingly Psy-trance artists such as Yahel and Infected Mushroom.
From there he discovered hard trance before moving onto mainstream and progressive trance, triggered by Tiesto’s Magik and ‘In Search of Sunrise’ mix albums.
Levi started producing at 11 years of age and had his first single ‘Ministry of Love' (Lost Language 2004) released aged 17.
In 2005 Levi released his first Anjunabeats single ‘Lital’ on the label’s progressive imprint Anjunadeep. His most successful release to date also came on Anjuadeep: ‘Shapes’ (Anjunadeep 2007).
Between 2007 and 2008 Levi served in the Israeli army, during which time he remixed under the techno and house alias 123XYZ.
In 2010 he released the vocal trance track ‘Chasing Love’ (Anjunabeats 2010) featuring Ashley Tomberlin on vocals.
Nitrous Oxide is established as one of the key artists in the Anjunabeats stable and is one of the leading figures on the Polish dance music scene. Though his sound is unarguably mainstream with a strong commercial edge it retains a toughness that echoes Prętkiewicz’s 3rd Moon days.
Krzysztof Pretkiewicz was born in Poznan, Poland in 1984 and as a youngster was influenced by artists including Depeche Mode, Mike Oldfield and Jean Michel Jarre.
