Punk Revival

From the early-to-mid 1990’s a wave of groups, such as Green Day that combined elements of Alternative Rock and Heavy Rock began to be marketed as Punk, leading to a major movement of Punk acts and new, and commercially successful, sub-genres such as Pop-Punk.
