Creation Records was a highly influential British Independent label run by the charismatic Alan McGee.  Creation spent more than a decade at the forefront of the UK Alternative music scene and was responsible for bringing acts such as Oasis to the global stage.

4AD
4AD was one of the key Independent record labels of the 1980’s and 1990’s, championing innovative Indie music.  Arguably 4AD’s biggest contribution to the Alternative Rock scene was the highly influential group the Pixies. 4AD is now part of Beggars Group.

XL Recordings


XL RecordingsXL Recordings originally came to prominence during the 1990’s known for its Dance music acts such as the Prodigy.  As the decade progressed XL Recordings widened its range of musical genres, putting itself at the heart of the British Indie music scene.  More recently XL Recordings has enjoyed success as the home of Adele. Fiction Records


Fiction Records
Fiction Records originally came to prominence as the independent record label home of influential UK Alternative Rock group The Cure.  Although originally independent Fiction was eventually acquired by Universal Music (via Polydor) and underwent a re-launch in 2004 with a stronger focus on guitar driven Alternative Rock.
