Early Years: 2002 to present

Stoneface and Terminal (real names Henry Nix and Matthias Gierth) released their first single in 2002 ‘Two + Two’ (Clubbgroove Records 2002).  In 2004 the duo set up Electric Department Records on which they released 4 singles including ‘Merkur’ (Electric Department Records 2005) which was selected by Paul van Dyk for inclusion in a DJ Magazine cover mount mix CD.

In 2005 Stoneface and Terminal signed to Kyau and Albert’s euphonic label.  Their first release on the label was a collaboration with another euphonic artist Ronski Speed: ‘Incognition / Drowning Sunlight’ (euphonic 2005). ‘Incognition’ received widespread support from top tier DJs such as van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten and boosted Stoneface and Terminal’s global profile.
Extensive remix work followed, including for Gareth Emery, Nu Nrg, Above and Beyond and Kyau and Albert.

In 2006 they released the euphoric trance track‘Venus’ (euphonic 2006) and the following year released their debut original artist album ‘Wide Range’ (euphonic 2007).  ‘Wide Range’, as the title suggests, features a diverse range of sounds incorporating driving trance, vocal tracks and more chilled out tracks.

In 2010 they released ‘Don't Give A Fuck’ (euphonic 2010) and the following year ‘Here To Stay’ (euphonic 2011).

Stoneface and Terminal have built a solid reputation as skilled producers and remixers and enjoy the consistent support of big name DJs such as Paul van Dyk.  However they themselves have yet to achieve top tier status.
