2Pac (real name Tupac Shakur) was an American rapper. One of the big names in early 1990’s Gangasta rap 2Pac broke through with his 1991 debut album ‘2Pacalypse Now’.  2Pac’s lyrics featured violence heavily and he became involved in a fierce spat with the US East Coast Rap scene.  In 1996 2Pac was shot four times and died from his injuries.  2Pac sold 75 million albums globally.
